Project of the Year

2014 - . Indian Hollow Road Bridge (Route 613). Bridge to replace dangerous one-lane low water bridge over the South Fork of the Shenandoah River that flooded frequently, separating local residents and businesses from their community and requiring a long detour. Project included a jointless precast box beam bridge structure that is 14 feet higher and 20 feet wider providing vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle traffic a safer, more efficient river crossing and allowing easier passage for river traffic below.

2014 - Compton Creek/Route 340 Bridge, Page County, Virginia. The project was performed for the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Transportation, Staunton District. Work consisted of two bridge replacements at Compton Creek (568 ft, 4 Span) and over Norfolk Southern rail line (150 ft, Simple Span), paving and roadway alignment for 2.1 miles of Route 340.
