Job Description
- Plan and perform safety checks (always plan safety first and then production second!);
- Thorough knowledge of the plans, specifications, and contract;
- Thorough knowledge of Company Cost Control systems including timesheet reviews (including quantities), purchasing, and reports (weekly cost report, weekly contact status report, weekly KPI report, and earned value management);
- Place one call;
- Order materials, toilets, roll of boxes, and security for job (Energy);
- Create POs for materials needed;
- Weekly management of all job site paperwork (stone tickets, receipts, and customer packing slips). Then scan and send in to office;
- Track T&M progress & sign off from inspector/owner’s representative;
- Assist Superintendent and Project Manager in interpreting design/drawings for crafts installing material;
- Assist in Engineering and Management functions by performing quantity calculations, time studies, record keeping, etc. as may be necessary to support projects;
- Research, recommend resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interference, and errors;
- Verify all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings, specifications;
- Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports, punch lists describing work items to be done, sketches of work already completed, material requirement calculations, etc., to supervisor;
- Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work, change orders, estimates, etc.
- Maintain and update project schedules as directed by Project Manager;
- Represent the Company, project and/or department during A/E, client and project management meetings;
- Maintain project record documents including pay applications, diaries, correspondence, submittals, photos, quality control, etc. per Company Guidelines and Project Documents;
- Prepare and distribute production reports on daily basis;
- Weekly update of material tracking spreadsheets;
- Additional duties as assigned and suggests revisions and additions to these competencies;
