Kanawha Stone Company provided construction services for a challenging slip remediation project for a private energy client. The slip was located directly over an active 20” natural gas and waterline, on a APP project site in Marshall County, WV. The slip presented a 1:1 steep slope, running into the Burch Run stream in Moundsville, WV.

Kanawha Stone Company utilized drone surveying and mapping to assess the site. Kanawha Stone then completed field exploration planning to develop preliminary a repair sketch. Kanawha Stone completed the slip repair without drawings from a design engineering firm, KSC completed all field engineering in-house. The slip remediation was completed to maintain integrity of the pipeline, and to control sediment reach in the Burch Run Stream.
