Kanawha Stone Company completed a $2.8 million freshwater impoundment for a recognized energy client in West Virginia. The company mobilized crews and equipment, and cleared approximately 23 acres for the project. The project required nearly 400,000 cubic yards of excavation and grading work and 39,000 square yards of geotextile fabric to be installed. Crews placed approximately 25,000 tons of aggregate on the project for various items such as drainage and access roads. Kanawha Stone crews installed 18” and 24” drainage pipes on the job with all appropriate ditch lining. Additionally, Kanawha Stone Company crews installed nearly 1,000 feet of guardrail on the site.
